The Rose
Crystal Rose Hudelson (she/her/li)
The soil: Rock Rose Blog started as a practice for me to exercise my voice about relevant and sometimes unheard issues in the climbing community, particularly from a Black perspective as a cis gender woman in the US.
The plant: And the more I wrote, the more people came forward seeking a platform to also express themselves. Over the years I have also provided consultation to companies and organizations like climbing gyms and the Mountaineers for inclusive practices.
The bloom: My blog is now Rock Rose Blog, LLC which is a for profit consulting company specializing in people of color, climbing, policy, and guiding. I offer a number of consulting services including but not limited to outdoor programming, community building, community maintaining, policy writing/overhauling, team trainings, individual trainings, event planning, and marketing visions. Or customized services. I am also a free lance guide up to multi pitch rock terrain. I do not provide conflict resolution, however, I can provide insight and education for either party seeking support.
If you are an affinity group, I do offer sliding fee scale/pro bono services.
You can find my full experience and qualifications on LinkedIn but below are some highlights.
